Amina Gusner (born April 26, 1965 in Moscow ) is an actress , director and author .

Life

Amina Gusner is the oldest daughter of the film director and screenwriter Iris Gusner , her younger sister is the costume designer and graduate designer Inken Gusner . Amina Gusner studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and completed her graduate years at the Quedlinburg Municipal Theaters . Since 1990 she has worked as an actress as well as a director and author. She founded the independent theater group Lautlinie , which received first prize at Impulse 90 for the best theater in German-speaking countries. Gusner also wrote and staged radio plays for the SFB . As an actress, she was seen in numerous film and television productions and received guest engagements at the Volksbühne Berlin and the Maxim-Gorki-Theater . In 2001 she founded the artist group alone-im-hausflur.de , with which she produces radio plays, short films and scenic collages. Since 2004 she has worked exclusively as a director for the Berlin Theater unterm Dach , the Staatstheater Kassel , the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam, the Theater am Kurfürstendamm Berlin and the Maxim-Gorki-Theater Berlin. From 2009 to July 2012, Amina Gusner was acting director of the Theater & Philharmonie Thuringia for three years , to which, in addition to the stages of the city of Gera, the Landestheater Altenburg also belongs and was invited to the Berlin Author Days in 2011.
