Karl Adolf Holland , from 1895 from Holland , (born January 27, 1825 in Tübingen , † June 25, 1907 in Ludwigsburg ) was a Württemberg governor .

Life

Born as the son of a senior justice procurator, Holland studied regimental sciences in Tübingen after attending the Lyceum in Tübingen and the grammar school in Stuttgart . During his studies in 1844 he was one of the founders of the fraternity of Walhalla Tübingen . After his exams in 1847 and 1848, he became a trainee lawyer at the Oberamt Tübingen and in the Stuttgart Ministry of the Interior. After several months of study in France , he became an actuary at the Gmünd Oberamt in 1850 ; soon afterwards he was transferred to the Neckarsulm District Office. After working as an assistant to the government of the Neckar District in Ludwigsburg from 1856 to 1858, followed by employment as an assistant to the government of the Jagstkreis in Ellwangen and as a senior administrator in Böblingen , he became senior magistrate at the Spaichingen government in 1860 and from 1867 at the Gmünd government. He worked here until 1881. From 1870 to 1871 he was Secretary General and Councilor of the prefecture of the Marne department in Châlons-en-Champagne, France . In 1881 he became a collegiate or government councilor of the government of the Neckar District in Ludwigsburg, where in 1892 he worked as a senior councilor and deputy to the regional president . In 1892 he retired as a government director .
