Oberamt Tübingen
The Oberamt Tübingen was an administrative district in Württemberg (on the attached map # 53) , which was renamed the Tübingen district in 1934 and in 1938 the majority was added to the enlarged Tübingen district. For general remarks on the Württemberg upper offices, see Oberamt (Württemberg) .
history
The city of Tübingen had been the capital of a Württemberg bailiwick since the 14th century . From 1806 to 1811, further places were added to the resulting office, since 1758 Oberamt, in several steps, on the other hand it lost some old Württemberg places in the Ammer and Steinlachtal to the Oberamt Herrenberg and to the newly established Oberamt Rottenburg . After the reorganization, the neighbors were the Württemberg regional offices of Böblingen , Herrenberg, Nürtingen , Urach , Reutlingen and Rottenburg. The Oberamt was assigned to the Black Forest District from 1818 to 1924 .
Former gentlemen
In 1813, after the regional reform was completed, the district was made up of parts that had belonged to the following rulers in 1800:
- Duchy of Württemberg
Most of the old Württemberg places belonged to the secular office of Tübingen. Lustnau, Pfrondorf and Immenhausen belonged to the Bebenhausen monastery office, which was abolished in 1807 , and the Einsiedel domain belonged to the Rentkammergut . Dettenhausen was assigned to the Upper Office of Böblingen until 1811. -
Marchtal Monastery
With the territory of the Premonstratensian Abbey, Ammern also came to the Prince of Thurn and Taxis in 1803, and to Württemberg in 1806. -
Imperial Knighthood
In the knightly canton Neckar-Black Forest the Swabian knighthood were enrolled:- Wankheim (with Kreßbach and Eck ): Freiherr von Saint-André ,
- Kilchberg: from Ticino,
- Bläsiberg: Schott von Schottenstein ,
- Rübgarten: Baron von Kniestedt .

Changes in the community since 1813
In 1820 the pasture and wood rights were replaced in Schönbuch . The Schönbuch comrades Altenburg, Degerschlacht, Oferdingen, Rommelsbach and Sickenhausen each received a piece of forest on the Dürrenberg near Kirchentellinsfurt, which was assigned to the municipality and assigned to the respective district as an exclave.
In 1823 Bebenhausen (with Waldhausen) was separated from Lustnau and raised to the status of an independent municipality.
In 1827 the community of Dörnach was transferred to the community of Dörnach to replace wood rights, the forest area "Wasserfall" (formerly Pliezhausen district, Oberamt Urach) and assigned to the district as an exclave.
In 1842, the communities Hagelloch (from the Oberamt Herrenberg) and Pliezhausen (from the Oberamt Urach) came to the Oberamt Tübingen. At the same time Altenriet was handed over to the Oberamt Nürtingen.
In 1849, Kreßbach (with a corner) was changed from Wankheim to Weilheim.
In 1934 Derendingen and Lustnau were incorporated into Tübingen and Waldhausen from Bebenhausen to Tübingen.
In 1936 the boundary between Kirchentellinsfurt and Wannweil (Reutlingen district) was corrected .
