Johann Carl Seubert

Johann Carl Seubert (born August 6, 1760 in Urach , † January 13, 1845 in Stuttgart ) was a Württemberg chief bailiff.

life and work

The son of the medical professor Ludwig Rudolf Seubert attended the Hohe Karlsschule in Stuttgart from 1778 to 1784 and studied law there. From 1785 to 1796 he worked as a secretary at the church council and from 1796 to 1799 at the Oberamt, monastery and forest administration in Alpirsbach. In 1799 he took over the management of the Maulbronn Oberamt as Oberamtmann . In 1810 he moved to the Oberamt Welzheim , which was called Oberamt Lorch from 1810 to 1819. From 1817 to 1825 he was finally senior bailiff at the Tübingen District Office . In 1825 he retired.
