Julius Gös (District Administrator)

Julius Karl Gustav Gös (born September 20, 1869 in Tübingen ; † April 28, 1959 there ) was a Württemberg governor and district administrator .

Life

The son of the mayor of Tübingen, Julius Gös, studied law in Tübingen and passed the higher administrative service exams in 1893 and 1895. He was a member of the gymnastics club Palatia Tübingen. From 1897 to 1903 he was an official at the Oberamt Schorndorf . In 1905 he received a position as a planned assessor in the government of the Black Forest District and was given the title of Oberamtmann there in 1906. In 1910 he was given the management of the Künzelsau regional office . From 1917 he headed the Oberamt Calw and from 1924 the Oberamt Tübingen . In 1928 his service title changed to District Administrator. On June 30, 1934, he applied for an early retirement due to illness.
