Christine Kutschera (* 1968 in Bielefeld , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German actress who works for film and theater , as well as a voice actress .

Education and theater

Christine Kutschera received a scholarship at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco after graduating from high school . She then supplemented her acting training in Germany with a degree at the Hamburg Drama Studio . She began her stage career in the play "Zimmer frei" at the largest German state theater in Schleswig-Holstein. Appearances at the "Haus im Park" and the Jewish theater "Schachar" followed. She showed her versatile talent in "Freundinnen", "Andre Töne" and "Gojim". With her solo program "Die Hölle der Mädchen" (The Hell of the Girls) she appears on stages.

Movie and TV

She played her first leading role on TV alongside Robert Atzorn in On Foot and Without Money 1993. She played the leading role Meike Nissen in the movie Sturmflut II . In 2009 she delighted TV viewers in the ARD series Eine für alle in the role of the opaque Dr. Schmidt . She is known to a wide audience through the international German-Australian production Emma's Chatroom in the role of Emma's mother.
