One for all - women can do it better was a German soap opera that was broadcast from April to October 2009 in the evening program of the first .
background
One for all - women can do better was the fifth daily series in the program of Das Erste after Rote Rosen , Sturm der Liebe , Verbotene Liebe and Marienhof . In order to attract more viewers to the new format, the series was also broadcast on Mondays for the first six weeks on the slot of the successful police series Großstadtrevier . From July 1st, however, they wanted to return to the familiar scheme and broadcast the soap only from Tuesdays to Fridays. 200 episodes were planned, but after only 46 episodes broadcast, ARD decided to discontinue the series after 100 episodes. The last episode aired on October 16, 2009. The last day of shooting in the studio in the Ludwigsburg Werkcafe was Friday, July 17th, 2009.
action
The four main characters Lilli, Bärbel, Yvonne and Melanie live with their families in the small town of Dorach. All four women are employees of the medium-sized cooling system manufacturer Wetzmann. This company is threatened with closure and the four main characters are fighting to keep their jobs.
Charisma
The series has been broadcast Monday through Friday (from July 1, 2009 Tuesday through Friday) at 6:50 pm on Das Erste since April 20, 2009 . The episodes of the previous week were repeated on Sundays between 4:45 and 6:20 p.m. and Mondays to Fridays at 5:35 p.m. at EinsFestival . There was also the opportunity to watch missed episodes for a week in the ARD media library.
production
The series was commissioned by ARD advertising and has been produced by Rubicon Filmproduktion in cooperation with Bavaria Fernsehproduktion in Ludwigsburg since January 22, 2009 . The set was located in the former broadcasting studio of the former regional broadcaster B.TV , the area of which was increased from 1,600 to 2,300 square meters by moving an intermediate level. The studio was located on the former premises of the medium-sized kitchen and cooling system manufacturer Eisfink . The majority of the outdoor shots took place in Ludwigsburg, Bietigheim-Bissingen and Oberriexingen , but the plot of the series was set in the fictional small town of Dorach.
criticism
The advertisement for the series was controversially criticized. The German Advertising Council received a complaint about sexual discrimination against men in the radio spots broadcast, but this did not lead to a complaint by the German Advertising Council. The advertising could continue.
