Patrick Jahns
Patrick Jahns (born November 16, 1984 in Spittal an der Drau in Carinthia , Austria ) is an Austrian actor and director .
Life
At the age of five he moved to Berchtesgaden with his mother and stepfather . There he attended the “Bacheifeld” elementary school and later the European Gymnasium Berchtesgaden up to the ninth grade. He then switched to the secondary school in Königssee, which he completed with a secondary school leaving certificate.
At the age of 17 he attended the "Academy for Performing Arts" in Regensburg, which he graduated in 2005 at the age of 20. After the drama school he worked at the Coccodrillo Theater Regensburg as an assistant director and actor. In 2006 he worked as an assistant director at the Stadttheater Ingolstadt for the production Ein Volksfeind under the direction of Pierre Walter Politz. In the same year he directed Paul Shipton's Die Wanze for the first time at the Coccodrillo Theater in Regensburg .
In addition to several short films, Jahns also played the leading role in the Austrian comedy Schlimmer geht's nimmer (2006). The international independent film Operation: Sunrise followed in 2007 and Break a year later, directed by Matthias Olof Eich .
For Break , Patrick developed the music video Home Again for Thorsten Engel, the film's composer. In addition to directing and producing, he took on the role of "guitarist". From 2008 to 2009 he stood in front of the camera as Tom Stadlbauer in the television series Dahoam is Dahoam . He then took on the role of Theo Lemcke in the new ARD early evening series Eine für alle - women can do it better . The series was discontinued after 100 episodes. Among other things, he was seen in the series Kanal fatal , Eine wie keine and Aktenzeichen XY ... unsolved .
In 2012, Patrick Jahns took on the lead role "Markus G. Elser" in the film Bunker of the Dead 3D . Bunker of the Dead 3D is the first German 3D action film. Matthias O. Eich ( Break ) was responsible for the direction and production . In addition to the stunts, Patrick Jahns also took on parts of the production. The film was released in 2015.
This was followed by further television appearances and, with Darwin's Law (2018), an action film again directed by Matthias Olof Eich.
In 2018, Jahns announced his exit from Dahoam is Dahaom .
