Jan Henrik Stahlberg (born December 30, 1970 in Neuwied ) is a German actor , screenwriter and director .

Life

After graduating from the Elly-Heuss-Knapp-Gymnasium, he studied acting in Munich ( Drama School Zerboni ) and Brussels (Institut des Arts de Diffusion). In addition to various film and television productions in Germany and abroad, he also worked at the theater in Ingolstadt and at the Volksbühne in Berlin . Stahlberg became known for the role of the do- gooder Mux in the film Muxmäuschenstill , for which he also wrote the screenplay.

Together with the screenwriter and actress Lucia Chiarla he wrote the political satire Bye Bye Berlusconi! . The film ran in 2006 at the Berlinale in the “Panorama Special” section.

In 2009 the second film, which was made in collaboration with Marcus Mittermeier , was released, Short Cut to Hollywood . The film was advertised with a guerrilla marketing campaign that spread false reports of an alleged bomb attack in Bluewater , California . This became known as the Bluewater Affair .
