Drama School Zerboni

The Drama School Zerboni (German Academy for Drama - DAS for short) is a private drama school in Munich that was founded in 1947.

history

Ruth von Zerboni founded the school in Gauting in May 1947 . From 1991 to 2010 it was headed by Ulrike Behrmann von Zerboni , after which the school was closed.

Simon Riggers has been the managing director since it reopened in 2013 . Birte Hanusrichter is the artistic director . The school is funded by the Free State of Bavaria and is eligible for BAföG . The legal entity is the "Association for the Promotion and Training of Young Artists eV Grünwald".

The training lasts three years, the structure of which is based on the Bavarian school system and is concluded with an examination. There is a public performance every school year. The fully trained students are introduced to the ZAV (formerly Central Stage, TV and Film Agency ZBF).

In 2014, 2015 and 2016 the drama school Zerboni won the MAX Prize (meeting of Munich's private drama schools). In 2016, 2017 and 2018, students of the school were awarded the Lore Bronner Prize of the Upper Bavaria district.
