Ruth von Zerboni

Ruth von Zerboni di Sposetti (born April 9, 1903 in Wilhelmsgrund near Rawitsch , Province of Posen , † August 26, 1991 in Munich ) was a German actress.

Life

Ruth von Zerboni was one of four daughters of Walter von Zerboni di Sposetti (1875-1914). The father died in World War I , and the family then moved to Munich . Ruth von Zerboni took acting lessons and was engaged at the Münchner Kammerspiele . This was followed by engagements in Heidelberg , at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg , in Frankfurt am Main , Leipzig and finally at the Prussian State Theater in Berlin .

In May 1947 she founded a private drama school at Villa Zerboni in Gauting-Stockdorf near Munich, which she was in charge of until her death in 1991. Well-known graduates of her school were Hans Clarin , Peter Schamoni and Lisa Fitz . Today the Zerboni drama school is located in Grünwald . Until 2011 it was led by Ruth von Zerboni's daughter Ulrike Behrmann von Zerboni .

Ruth von Zerboni was married to the actor Harry Buckwitz in her first marriage , from 1934 to 1939 her second marriage to the doctor Hartmut Doermer (from this marriage the son Christian comes from ) and in the third marriage since 1939 to the doctor Wolf Dietrich Germer (from this Marriage is the daughter Ulrike ).

In 1984 she was awarded the Günther Klinge Prize from the Gauting community . Her grave is in the Obermenzing Forest Cemetery .
