Sabine Lorenz (born August 16, 1972 in Mainz ) is a German actress .

Life and education

Sabine Lorenz was born as the daughter of volcanologist Volker Lorenz in Mainz and grew up on the Lerchenberg. After an apprenticeship as a tax assistant, she founded the production company bumm film in Munich with director, author and producer Tommy Krappweis . Lorenz took over the film management. She completed her acting studies at the Zerboni Drama School in Munich. In the second year of her studies she was awarded the Lore Bronner Prize as a performing artist. After completing her training, Lorenz was employed at various theaters in Germany and Switzerland, such as B. The theater on Effingerstrasse , the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern or at the Weilheim Festival. Since 2014 Lorenz has played the leading role of Edith Merkes in the ARD / WDR series "Die Kuhflüsterin".

Sabine Lorenz lives with her daughter in Munich and Lindau (Lake Constance) .
