occupation

Disney's Short Break is a German sitcom series that was on the air from 2006 to 2008. It is aired now and then on Disney Channel as well as on Kabel Eins . Just like the American version As the Bell Rings , the series is based on the Italian model Quelli dell'intervallo . There is also a French variant called Trop la classe! .

An episode is five to eight minutes long. The series has no fixed airtime. The episodes are usually broadcast between two programs, if z. B. a movie was just showing and there is still some time left.

action

The whole series only takes place in one school. More precisely, only in the corridor of the school, in which there is a relatively large window compared to other schools. All scenes are structured according to the same scheme: the characters sit on the window or stand behind it. There is always only one camera perspective.

When the doorbell rings during break, Moritz (also called Mo) and Philip (also called Flip) usually meet at the window in the hallway of the school, where they discuss everything that has happened today or will happen today. Always in the middle of the conversation, one to three other people (e.g. Julia) join in and comment on what Mo and Philip are talking about or are talking to. In conversation there are mostly gags, jokes or funny remarks.

Characters

  • Moritz (Mon)

Mo's trademark are his hats, which he wears anytime and anywhere. He puts on what's lying around on his bedroom floor. The character is played by Bela Klentze .

  • Philip (Flip)

Philip, played by Benjamin Trinks , is trendy and romantic, and also a little naive. He is usually in trouble because he forgets appointments, appointments, work, etc.
