Lore Bronner Prize

The Lore Bronner Prize is a sponsorship award for performing arts from the Upper Bavaria district . It is named after the Munich theater director and actress Lore Bronner (1906–2002).

The prize has been awarded annually since 1996 to young, particularly talented young actors who have their main residence in Upper Bavaria. This includes a financial donation of currently € 3,000 each and an engagement at the theater in Weilheim for the Weilheim Festival . So far (until 2018) a total of 44 winners have been awarded.
