Florian Froschmayer

Florian Froschmayer (born October 24, 1972 in Zurich ) is a Swiss director and screenwriter .

Life

After training as a commercial clerk, Froschmayer worked in a video store in 1992 . From April 1993 he completed a short training course as an editor at Swiss television . From May 1993 to February 1998 he also worked as an editor for Swiss television DRS. Since 1997 he has also worked as a director for image films for Business Unit Sport, Audiokraftwerk, Kino-Theater AG.

From 1996 he was also the editor and producer of the children's and youth program KIDZ for Swiss television. He wrote the screenplay for his movie Exklusiv , which was released in Swiss cinemas on October 15, 1999. This was followed in 2001 by the shooting of the movie LA X , which opened in theaters on January 8, 2002. In 2001 he began directing in Germany. He shot episodes for Coast Guard , Post Mortem , RIS - The Language of the Dead , In the Name of the Law , SOKO 5113 , SOKO Rhein-Main and Die Sitte . Froschmayer made his Tatort debut in 2008 with the episode Borowski and the ideal world .

In 2004 Froschmayer accompanied the Swiss national football team at the European Championship in Portugal together with Martin Masafret . The film Nous les Suisses ran on July 4, 2004 on Swiss television.

Froschmayer lives in Berlin and Zurich.
