Ralf Novak

Ralf Novak (born September 12, 1952 in Dresden ) is a German actor .

Training and initial engagements

Ralf Novak studied from 1973 to 1977 at the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig and from 1975 to 1977 was a member of the drama studio at the Dresden State Theater . After completing his training, Novak was permanently engaged at the Meininger Theater and the Thalia Theater in Halle for the next few years before he switched to the political cabaret Die Kiebitzensteiner in Halle an der Saale from 1981 to 1987 .

Career up to 2000

In August 1987 Ralf Novak moved from the GDR to Budapest / Hungary. In March 1988 he left for the Federal Republic of Germany. He came to Karlsruhe via the reception camps in Gießen and Rastatt. Just two months later, in May 1988, he signed his first guest contract at the Ettlingen Castle Festival under the direction of Kurt Müller-Graf (premiere: May 1988 of the musical My Fair Lady , director: Benno Hoffmann). In the same year, in August 1988, he switched to his first permanent engagement at the Stadttheater Heilbronn under the management of Klaus Wagner (premiere: October 1988 of the Kastner play , director: Ilan Ronen). After two tours through Germany, Austria and Switzerland as Monsieur Claude in the successful French comedy Monsieur Claude and his daughters in 2018, he took on the same role in 2019 in the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof in Munich.
