Susanne Amatosero
Susanne Amatosero (* 29. July 1952 in Wittlich as Susanne Klippel ) is a German painter , theater - and radio playwright and director .
Life
Susanne Amatosero studied painting at the HFBK Hamburg and then worked as a photographer and film director. To cross-cultural and ethnographic studies she made several trips to various African countries and the Caribbean. Her first documentary film “ The Pilgrim's Journey Number One ”, which was made in the Caribbean, was awarded the special prize of the jury of the “7e Bilan du Film Ethnographique” in Paris in 1988.
The author , who now lives in Hamburg, has been writing radio plays since 1989 and has also directed their production, whereby she likes to work with sounds and noises. For “ funky yard ” from 1996 she received the “New York Festival Prize”.
Her brother is the writer Christian Klippel .
