Bijan Benjamin ( Persian بیژن بنیامین, Born March 9, 1983 in Cologne ) is a German filmmaker.

Life

For one of his short films, Moneymaker (2006), Benjamin was awarded the audience prize at the Bergisches Filmpreis. His contribution cell (2007) ran u. a. at the Festival des Films du Monde Montréal and at the Hofer Filmtage and was also released on DVD as part of the New German Films series . Other productions ran a. a. in the television series Südwild . His last feature film Murat B. - Lost in Germany (2009) was shown in advance at the Berlinale reception of the German film schools.
