Andreas Leupold (* 1959 in East Berlin ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

After graduating from high school, Andreas Leupold did an apprenticeship at the technical school for health and social services in Potsdam and worked as a social welfare worker. He got into acting through a Senate grant for photography and played first roles at the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne Anklam . From 1994 to 1998 he was engaged at the Nordhausen Theater, where he met the director Armin Petras . In 1999, Leupold moved to the Staatstheater Kassel before coming to the Berlin Maxim-Gorki-Theater via the Schauspiel Frankfurt , whose ensemble he was a member of from 2006 to 2013 under Petras' artistic director. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season, Leupold followed Armin Petras to the Stuttgart State Theater .

Since the late 1990s, Leupold has also been a busy film and television actor and has so far appeared in numerous productions, including well-known crime series such as the SOKOs from Wismar , Leipzig and Stuttgart , some Tatort episodes and award-winning films such as Kriegerin and Lux - Krieger of light . Leupold also works for radio.

Andreas Leupold is married to his colleague Abak Rafaei-Sad and they have a son (* 2013).
