Arraye-et-Han is a French commune with 359 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Nancy and the canton Entre Seille et Meurthe (until 2015: canton Nomeny ).

location

Arraye-et-Han is located about 20 kilometers northeast of Nancy on the Seille , which borders the municipality in the east. Arraye-et-Han is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chenicourt and Ajoncourt in the north, Fossieux in the north and northeast, Malaucourt-sur-Seille in the east, Manhoué in the south and southeast, Armaucourt in the south, Leyr in the south and southwest, Moivrons in the west as well Jeandelaincourt to the northwest.

history

During the wars of 1870/1871 and 1914–1918 with Germany, Arraye-et-Han was partially at the front.
