Loisy is located about 23 kilometers north-northwest of Nancy on the Moselle . Loisy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Atton in the north, Sainte-Geneviève in the east, Bezaumont in the south, Dieulouard in the south-west and Blénod-lès-Pont-à-Mousson in the west and north-west.
