Pont-Saint-Vincent is a French commune with 1,903 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region ( Lorraine until 2015 ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Canton of Neuves-Maisons .
geography
Pont-Saint-Vincent is located about eleven kilometers southwest of Nancy at the confluence of the Moselle and Madon rivers . The Canal des Vosges also runs along the northern edge of the municipality. Pont-Saint-Vincent is surrounded by the neighboring communities Chaligny in the north, Neuves-Maisons in the north and northeast, Frolois in the east and southeast, Bainville-sur-Madon in the south, Maizières in the west and southwest and Sexey-aux-Forges in the northwest.
The former Route nationale 74 runs through the municipality . The Pont-Saint-Vincent airfield is located in the neighboring municipalities of Bainville-sur-Madon and Maizières.
