Phlin is a French commune with 42 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Nancy and the canton Entre Seille et Meurthe (until 2015: canton Nomeny ).

Phlin is located about 30 kilometers south-southeast of Metz on the Seille , which borders the community in the south. Phlin is surrounded by the neighboring communities Sailly-Achâtel in the north and northeast, Vulmont in the east and northeast, Thézey-Saint-Martin in the east and southeast, Abaucourt in the south and southwest and Mailly-sur-Seille in the west.
