Méréville is a French commune with 1,345 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Canton of Neuves-Maisons .

geography

Méréville is located about eleven kilometers south-southwest of Nancy on the Moselle . In the northwest, the Madon delimits the community. Méréville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Messein in the north, Richardménil in the east, Flavigny-sur-Moselle in the south-east, Pulligny in the south, Frolois in the south-west, Bainville-sur-Madon in the west and Pont-Saint-Vincent and Neuves-Maisons in the north-west.
