Sornéville is a French commune with 328 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Canton of Grand Couronné (until 2015: Canton Seichamps ). The inhabitants are called Sornévillois .

Sornéville is about 18 kilometers east-northeast of Nancy and is surrounded by the neighboring communities Moncel-sur-Seille in the north, Bezange-la-Grande in the east, Hoéville in the south and south-east, Réméréville in the south-west, Erbéviller-sur-Amezule in the west and south-west as well Mazerulles to the west and northwest.
