Ville-en-Vermois is a French commune with 598 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Canton of Jarville-la-Malgrange (until 2015: Canton Saint-Nicolas-de-Port ). The inhabitants are called Fraimbois .

Ville-en-Vermois is about eight kilometers south-southeast of Nancy city center . Ville-en-Vermois is surrounded by the neighboring communities Laneuveville-devant-Nancy in the north, Saint-Nicolas-de-Port in the east and northeast, Manoncourt-en-Vermois in the east and southeast, Burthecourt-aux-Chênes and Azelot in the south, Lupcourt in the south and south-west, Ludres in the west and south-west and Fléville-devant-Nancy in the west and north-west.
The A33 autoroute runs through the municipality .
