Vandières is a French commune with 925 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Canton of Pont-à-Mousson (until 2015: Canton Dieulouard ). The inhabitants are called Vandiérois .

Vandières is located about 31 kilometers north-northwest of Nancy on the Moselle . Vandières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pagny-sur-Moselle in the north, Vittonville in the east and northeast, Champey-sur-Moselle in the east, Pont-à-Mousson in the south and southeast, Norroy-lès-Pont-à-Mousson in the south, Villers-sous-Prény in the south-west, Vilcey-sur-Trey in the west and south-west and Prény in the north-west.
The Vandières TGV train station is in the municipality .
