Moncel-sur-Seille is a French commune with 523 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Canton of Grand Couronné (until 2015: Canton Seichamps ). The inhabitants are called Moncellois .

Moncel-sur-Seille is about 18 kilometers east-north-east of Nancy an der Seille and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pettoncourt in the north and north-west, Chambrey in the east and north-east, Bezange-la-Grande in the south-east, Sornéville in the south, Mazerulles in the west and south-west and Brin-sur-Seille to the west.

The municipality's train station is on the Champigneulles – Sarralbe railway line .
