Quevilloncourt is a French commune with 95 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Pays du Saintois municipality .
geography
Quevilloncourt is in the Saintois countryside , about 28 kilometers south of Nancy . Quevilloncourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vézelise in the north-west, north and north-east, Tantonville in the east and Forcelles-Saint-Gorgon in the south.
history
During the Ancien Régime Quevilloncourt belonged to the Tantonville dominion , ecclesiastically to the parish of the Forcelles-Saint-Gorgon parish. At the time the community was founded in 1793, it was spelled with Accent aigu ( Quévilloncourt ).

Attractions
Quevilloncourt has neither churches nor chapels nor a cemetery. The church of Saint-Paul in the neighboring village of Forcelles-Saint-Gorgon is responsible for the faithful. In addition to a covered lavoir , which was previously used as a wash house and cattle trough, the ensemble of old Lorraine farmhouses is well worth seeing.
Economy and Infrastructure
Quevilloncourt is rural. There are two farms in the municipality (grain cultivation, cattle breeding).
The municipality of Quevilloncourt is on the main road from Vézelise to Tantonville . In the community of Crantenoy , located eleven kilometers to the east, there is a connection to the motorway-like RN 57 from Nancy to Épinal . The railway line from Nancy to Vittel runs through Quevilloncourt; the train station in the small town of Vézelise is located immediately north of the municipal boundary.
