Brin-sur-Seille is about 14 kilometers northeast of Nancy on the Seille , which forms the northeastern municipal boundary. Brin-sur-Seille is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Bey-sur-Seille in the north and north-west, Bioncourt in the north, Attilloncourt in the north and north-east, Pettoncourt in the east and north-east, Moncel-sur-Seille in the east, Mazerulles in the south, Amance in the South and southwest and Bouxières-aux-Chênes in the west.
