Clémery is located about 25 kilometers north-northeast of Nancy on the Seille , which borders the municipality in the northeast. Clémery is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Port-sur-Seille in the north and north-west, Rouves in the north-east, Nomeny in the east, Belleau in the south and south-east, Landremont in the south-west and Sainte-Geneviève in the west and south-west.
