Richardménil is a French commune with 2,355 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Canton of Neuves-Maisons (until 2015: Canton Saint-Nicolas-de-Port ).
geography
Richardménil is about twelve kilometers south of Nancy on the Moselle . Through the village leading shipping channels Canal des Vosges (formerly Canal de l'Est ) and Canal de jonction de Nancy . Richardménil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ludres in the north, Lupcourt in the east, Flavigny-sur-Moselle in the south and south-east, Méréville in the west and south-west and Messein in the north-west.
The A330 autoroute runs through the municipality .
