Belleau is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Clémery in the north, Nomeny in the east and north-east, Jeandelaincourt and Sivry in the east, Faulx in the south and south-east, Custines in the south and south-west, Millery in the south-west and Ville-au-Val and Landremont in the west.
history
In 1047 the place was called Bella Aqua . In 1971 the municipality of Belleau was merged with the neighboring communes of Manoncourt-sur-Seilles , Morey , Lixières and Serrières .
