Vaudigny is a French commune with 75 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality is part of the Nancy arrondissement and the Pays du Saintois municipality . The inhabitants are called Valdigniens .

geography

Vaudigny is located in the Saintois countryside , about 27 kilometers south of Nancy am Madon . Vaudigny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vaudeville in the north, Lebeuville in the east and Xirocourt in the south and west.

history

In 1987 Vaudigny was detached from the municipality of Les Mesnils-sur-Madon (today: Crantenoy ), of which it had been part since 1971.
