Art-sur-Meurthe is a French commune with 1,470 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Canton of Grand Couronné . The inhabitants are called Arcquois .

Art-sur-Meurthe is about seven kilometers southeast of Nancy on the right of the Meurthe . Art-sur-Meurthe is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saulxures-lès-Nancy in the north, Lenoncourt in the east, Varangéville in the south-east, Laneuville-devant-Nancy in the south and west and Tomblaine in the north-west.
