Goviller is located about 24 kilometers south-southwest of Nancy in the Saintois countryside . Goviller is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Germiny in the north, Thélod in the northeast, Vitrey in the east, Lalœuf in the south, Dolcourt in the west and southwest, Selaincourt in the west and Crépey in the northwest.
