Bouzanville (1793 and 1801 still with the spellings Bouzainville and Bouzauville ) is a French commune with 62 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Pays du Saintois municipality .
geography
The municipality of Bouzanville im Xaintois is located in the south of the Meurthe-et-Moselle department, on the border with the Vosges department , 35 kilometers south of Nancy . The undulating ground relief around Bouzanville belongs to the catchment area of the Madon . The largest part of the municipality is used for agriculture; in the south, the community has an approximately 50 hectare portion of a forest area.
Neighboring municipalities of Bouzanville are Diarville in the northeast, Ambacourt in the southeast, Frenelle-la-Grande in the southwest, Boulaincourt in the west and Forcelles-sous-Gugney in the northwest.

The bars in the coat of arms are reminiscent of the county of Vaudémont , to which Bouzanville belonged. The tip symbolizes St. Martin, the patron saint of the community. The two letters are the initials of the community.

Economy and Infrastructure
There are three cattle breeding farms in the municipality.
Bouzanville is away from the national traffic flows. To the east of the village the road runs from Mirecourt via Tantonville to Nancy . The railway line runs through the municipality from Nancy via Mirecourt and Vittel to Merrey , which is operated by TER Lorraine ; the next stop is in Diarville, three kilometers away .
