Fléville-devant-Nancy is a French commune with 2,263 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Canton of Jarville-la-Malgrange (until 2015: Canton Tomblaine ).
geography
The municipality is located about eight kilometers south of Nancy on the north bank of the Canal de jonction de Nancy . Neighboring municipalities are Heillecourt in the north, Laneuveville-devant-Nancy in the north-east, Ville-en-Vermois in the south-east, Ludres in the south-west and Houdemont in the north-west.
The municipality is crossed by the A33 motorway .
