Custines is a French commune with 3,079 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Canton of Entre Seille et Meurthe (until 2015: Canton of Malzéville ).

Custines is on the Moselle , into which the Meurthe flows. Custines is surrounded by the neighboring communities Millery in the north, Belleau in the northeast, Malleloy in the east, Bouxières-aux-Dames in the south and southeast, Frouard in the south and southwest, Pompey in the west and Marbache in the west and northwest.
The A31 autoroute runs through the municipality .
history
Because of the confluence (lat. Condatum ) of the Moselle and Meurthe, the name of the place was until 1719 Condé-sur-Moselle . It was then named after Count Custine. During the revolutionary years the place was called Port-sur-Moselle and from 1800 Custines .

- Church Saint-Léger , Romanesque bell tower from the 12th century, the choir from the 15th century chapel of the 16th century
