Houdreville is located about 28 kilometers south-southwest of Nancy in the Saintois countryside . Houdreville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Houdelmont in the north, Autrey in the northeast, Clérey-sur-Brenon in the east, Omelmont in the south and southeast, Vézelise in the south, Hammeville in the west and southwest and Parey-Saint-Césaire in the northwest.
