The DGB district Rhineland-Palatinate - Saarland includes the federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland .

The DGB district forms “the state political lobby of the trade unions”. Dietmar Muscheid (DGB-Rhineland-Palatinate) is the district chairman and Eugen Roth (DGB-Saar) is the deputy district chairman.
