Kazimieras Musteikis

Kazimieras Musteikis (* 1928 in Laučiūniškė , Wolost Salakas , Zarasai District (now Ignalina Rajong municipality )) is a Lithuanian linguist, Slavist and professor .

Life

In 1936 Kazimieras Musteikis attended school. In 1939 he graduated from Baibiai elementary school ( Zarasai Rajongemeinde ) and then studied in Antalieptė and from 1941 to 1948 at the Kazimieras Būga -Gymnasium Dusetos . After graduating from high school, he studied from 1948 to 1952 at the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas in Vilnius and from 1952 to 1953 at the institute in Moscow .

1953-2000 he taught at the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas, from 1977 as a professor. In 1974 he received his doctorate in Russian philology . 1958–1982 and from 1986 he headed the chair of the Russian language and from 1982 to 1986 at the University of Leipzig .
