Lebeuville is a French commune with 175 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nancy and the Pays du Saintois municipal association founded in 2012 .
geography
The municipality of Lebeuville is located above the Moselle valley , about 25 kilometers southwest of Lunéville and 30 kilometers southeast of Nancy . The narrow plateau gradually descends to the west to the Madontal valley, to the Moselle valley to the east in a steep step of around 100 meters in altitude . Smaller areas in the west and north of the community area are forested.
Lebeuville's neighboring municipalities are Leménil-Mitry in the north, Bainville-aux-Miroirs in the east, Gripport in the south, Germonville and Xirocourt (point of contact) in the southwest, Vaudigny in the west and Vaudeville in the northwest.
history
Lebeuville was dependent on Bainville for a long time , as shown in the silver cross on the blue shield of the coat of arms of Bainville and Lebeuville. The giraffe head on the Lebeuville coat of arms recalls the signature of the Maillart family , the long-time lords of the place.

Economy and Infrastructure
There are seven farms in the municipality of Lebeuville (including cattle breeding).
Lebeuville can be reached from Gripport from the south and Laneuveville-devant-Bayon from the north . The national road 57 ( E 23 ) from Nancy to Épinal (with a connection in Gripport) runs through the west of the municipality .
