The Aline colliery is a former hard coal mine in Essen-Werden - Fischlaken . Since the bill Aline also tonnlägigen shaft of the mine, Paul co-use, it was also mine Paul & Aline called.
history
The Aline colliery was in operation from at least 1850. A length field was awarded on September 6, 1851 . In the following year there was another award, from this year the first workforce figures for the mine come, 14 miners were employed at the colliery. Representative of the Union was at that time the pensioner J. Rive. In the years 1857, 1858, 1860 and 1863 the mine was demonstrably in operation. In 1858, 15 miners were employed at the colliery. In 1865 the mine was first in operation during the year, it was probably in deadlines set. In 1873 the mine was put back into operation, with seven miners producing 125 tons of hard coal . In 1875 the Aline colliery was still in operation, but it was added to the Paul colliery before 1892.

Even today, the Alinenhöhe in Essen-Fischlaken is reminiscent of the former location of the Aline colliery.
