Picco by Groote
Picco von Groote , actually Bettina von Groote , (born April 15, 1981 in Cologne ) is a German actress . She gained fame mainly through the lead role in the TV movie Starfighter - They Wanted to Conquer the Sky from 2015.
Life
Picco von Groote is the daughter of a businessman and a doctor's assistant. She went to school in Bad Honnef . There was a musical group there, through which she had her first contact with the theater stage. Her mother then advised her to become an actress.
In 2001 she began her training at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts , which she graduated in 2005. She then belonged to the ensemble of the Hanover State Theater for a few years , but also played on other German theaters, such as the Staatsschauspiel Dresden or the Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin.
She made her film debut in 2012 in What remains by Hans-Christian Schmid . After that she played in Der Turm by Christian Schwochow or in Fatal Vicinity under the direction of Thorsten Näter .
Picco von Groote is married and lives in Frankfurt.
