Karen Bohne

Karen Böhne (born October 3, 1963 in Saarbrücken ) is a German actress . She is particularly known for her leading roles in the German television series Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast and Alphateam - Die Lebensretter im OP .

Life

Karen Böhne completed her acting training in Düsseldorf , at whose theater she also made her first appearances.

In Frankfurt am Main she played the role of Penthesilea in Heinrich von Kleist 's drama of the same name from 1981 to 1982 . After a short guest appearance at the Theater an der Basilika ( Hamburg ), she finally moved to the Berliner Volksbühne and in the early 1990s also got her first roles in German television productions. In her first television film, she played a maid in My Lovely Monster in 1990 .

Böhne played the first leading role in a German television series from 1997 in the alpha team in the role of Dr. Heidi Schaller . In the series Behind Bars - Der Frauenknast , Karen Böhne played the role of prison director Eva Baal from 1999 with interruptions and left this series in March 2006.
