Susanne Wolff
Susanne Wolff (born May 1, 1973 in Bielefeld ) is a German theater and film actress .
Life
Growing up in Bielefeld with two brothers, the daughter of a housewife and a representative for milling machines , Susanne Wolff completed an apprenticeship as an actress from 1994 to 1998 at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media .
During her studies she already played in a production by the director Andreas Kriegenburg at the Hanover Theater . From 1998 to 2009 she belonged to the ensemble of the Thalia Theater Hamburg, where she a. a. featured in works by Nicolas Stemann , Alize Zandwijk, Rafael Sanchez and Andreas Kriegenburg. She also played the role of Alma Mahler in 2001 in Vienna in Alma - A Show Biz ans Ende (2001, director: Paulus Manker ) and Penthesilea at the Salzburg Festival (2005). From 2009 to 2016 Susanne Wolff was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin . She worked u. a. with the directors Stephan Kimmig , Stefan Pucher , Armin Petras and Jette Steckel . Since 2003 Susanne Wolff has also played film and television roles. She presented her first directorial work in 2016 at the Schauspiel Frankfurt with the production Shoot / Katzelmacher / Repeat .
