Susanne Wolf

Susanne Felicitas Wolf (born January 24, 1964 in Mainz ) is a German author and dramaturge .

Life

Susanne Felicitas Wolf studied theater studies / subject combination at the University of Vienna , which she obtained in 1988 with the academic degree Mag. Phil. completed. She then worked in the dramaturgy department at the Schauspiel Frankfurt , the Volkstheater Vienna , the Lower Austrian Danube Festival and the Schauspielhaus Wien . Since 1990 she has been writing texts for the theater (plays, dramatizations and arrangements) in the areas of “U” and “E” and has also produced her own independent theater productions in Austria and Germany . Since 2000 she has specialized in Viennese comedies.

From 2004 to 2008 Wolf was deputy artistic director at the Wiener Lustspielhaus. She has repeatedly been a guest lecturer at the University of Vienna at the Institute for Theater, Film and Media Studies. Wolf has lived in Vienna since 1982.

The rights to their plays are owned by Thomas Sessler Verlag, Vienna.

Awards

In 2006 she received the Golden Merit of the Republic of Austria .
