Monika Strauch
Monika Strauch (born March 24, 1946 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .
She received her dance training at the ballet school from Rudi Fränzl and acting lessons from Helmuth Krauss. She made her stage debut with Fritz Rémond at the Frankfurt Theater im Zoo. As a freelance actress, she has appeared in numerous theaters such as the Theater in der Josefstadt , the Volkstheater Vienna , the Wiener Komödie, the Komödie in Frankfurt, the Komödie im Marquardt in Stuttgart, the Hamburger Kammerspiele , the Theater Die Kleine Freiheit in Munich and the small comedy there.
Strauch acted mainly in Schwänken and other comedies . In film, she mostly only got smaller roles. In 1970, however, she was the leading actress in the frivolous Lisa film production Dornwittchen und Schneeröschen . The ZDF television audience experienced it from 1969 to 1977 in 97 episodes of the music program Do you recognize the melody? as assistant to Ernst Stankovski . She also worked as a presenter and radio play speaker for radio. She is married to the Austrian presenter and actor Peter Machac , with whom she can often be seen at artistic and social events.
