Dornwittchen und Schneeröschen is a German sex film made in 1969 in the guise of a fairy tale film. The film was staged by the entrepreneur, innkeeper, cabaret artist, sports official and herbal lemonade manufacturer ("Almdudler") Erwin Klein , whose only film director was Erwin Klein .

action

Georg Thomalla tells from a very special “fairy tale book” two somewhat different fairy tales with classic fairy tale characters from yesteryear and in historical costumes, some of which are transported into the modern age of the late 1960s. At the center of his stories, like a cheeky dance of love, are the erotic and sex adventures of young, bare-breasted women with sonorous names like Undine, Ping & Pong, those of two conquerors and heartbreakers who are full of juice on the green meadow as well as in the castle or to be mated to a boarding school for girls. The central protagonists in the two connected stories are Rosi Dorn and Prince Snow White. In the Ringelpietz, seasoned with hearty humor and spicy jokes, a certain Charly chases after Prince Rosi, who works as a representative of women's underwear. This awkward everyday citizen awakens the chaste damsel after 700 years of deep sleep, who then has a lot to catch up with, especially when it comes to sex. Rosi's hunger for love is so overwhelming that the prince soon feels overwhelmed.

Prince Snow White, on the other hand, faces a completely different threat. Not that someone would want to put him in the glass coffin with a poisoned apple. No, here it is a certain Baldwin Graf von Schwullingen who intends to blow him out of life with his poisonous banana because of his spurned love. The nobleman is extremely gay and takes on the role of the evil queen in the true Snow White fairy tale. But Prince Snow White is totally into young and well-built fairytale girls, whom those left behind in the forest promptly meet and who intend to make them happy behind the bushes. Even the pretty, seductive Little Red Riding Hood does not escape his lust and is always good for a quickie. Finally, the male Snow White finds himself in a modern boarding school, where he promptly comes across seven girls ... and they are anything but dwarfs.

Production notes

Dornwittchen und Schneeröschen was created from May 15 to July 20, 1969 in the Munich Bavaria Ateliers (interiors), the exterior shots took place in Austria. The premiere was on January 21, 1970 in the Roxy-Kino in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse . There was no re-performance, no TV broadcast and no video release of this cinematic rarity, which, however, was pirated in circles of film fans .

Reviews

"Extremely clumsy and pointless, with a cheeky comment."

“The tapped idea of letting fairy-tale characters act in our modern world could have led to cheerful and critical moments. But the author and director only knew how to deal with ancient puns and absurdities. An appearing Count Balduin von Schwulingen (!) Makes the 83 minutes completely unsavory. Annoying trash film that can only be clearly warned about. "
